Does anyone know what the Toyota part number is for the 33mm seals ?
35mm seal is 90310-35010

Following on from above I ordered and have now got custom length axles from Longfield to suit the LJ7x and KZJ7x. The earlier model ones should be a direct fit as the oil seal diameter (33mm) should be the same as Hilux and earlier FJ Cruisers, for the later model ones the oil seal ID is 35mm, so the oil seal wil need to be changed to suit the longfield axles, the OD of both seals is 50mm. The larger seals are the same as the 80 Series seals.

For the earlier ones that don't need seals Cost is $1350 plus post which is about $50.

For the later ones that need different seal Cost is $1350 plus post which is about $50.
You will just need to get early model seals.
The toyota seal no is 90310-35010.

For the longfield warranty need to run Hub Gears ($225) or Drive Flanges ($300)

PM me if interested

That seal is 33mm inside diameter but only 44mm outside diameter .. so too small .. that's seal is what LJ71 uses.

Hi Trev,
Just had a look at the seal that I got off Toyota with the part number 90310-35010, is a 50mm OD and reasonable fit on 33mm dia but only the lip with the garter spring is touching the shaft, the outer lip is not, if the axle doesn't move around much it should seal ok but not great for long term.
When I got the seal a while ago from Toyota, he said it should do the trick, I didn't check it myself, more fool me.
You can definitely get standard double lipped oil seals that are 33 x 50 which may be okay but also may not give enough flexibility for the axle shaft movement. Depends on the seal design and axle movement.
Other option is to make some 50 x 44 inserts to go in the housing so that the 44 OD seals can be used, which is what I was going to do until I thought the above seals could be used, I could still do this if need be.
Cheers

I went into SAECO Wilson today and ordered some 33/50/10 mm seals they will arrive Monday with luck but most likely Tuesday.
They are double lip , nitrile etc ... but don't have the locating lip .... ill just have to be very careful installing them.
I thought of getting an insert made up as I already have some Martin Crawler 33/44 , but that's too much hassle and I didn't want to risk an issue with the insert getting damaged next time I have to replace the seals.
The best thing would be for the axles to of been 35mm to match factory then I could of used the real good quality seals the rock crawling guys use.
Im guessing im the only guy who measures stuff before installing things .... close enough isn't good enough for me .. Do it once ..do it right.
