Hi Everyone
New here, I'm Adam from chch. In the process of gathering/installing parts to turbo my gq lwb patrol and have just fitted a front mount intercooler and started sorting out my piping. have pulled off the main filter/housing and noticed some kind of valve or similar on the short little runner the housing sits on. Would be much easier to sort out my piping if this could be removed can anyone comment on what it does? have searched the net looking for any info on what it might be but no luck.. has a wire running to it and a short piece of vacuum line not connected to anything. cheers!
patrol turbo conversion - what is this?

Re: patrol turbo conversion - what is this?
Would say its part of the emission system if disconnected and truck still runs ok, it's not a problem

cheers coxsy. I was thinking along the same lines myself just cannot confirm that it ever was connected to anything and isn't supposed to be some kind of vent or something? has about 50mm of vacuum hose sticking out the back. Where would i find the EGR on a GQ if it had one? Have found a bunch of threads relating to GU's but nothing for mine. thanks
