Re: 23rd 24th march
Had trouble starting recently so checked glow plugs, 1 blown and 1 shorted, that took out the glow fuse
Replaced glow plugs and repaired fuse with a good rated blob of solder

Went to the 42 Traverse with two others, spent the night at Turangi then headed home via The Forgotten World Highway, was a great trip and really looking forward to the next road trip!

Edwards Valley and Maling Pass with a few mates, awesome area for a weekend getaway.
Re: 23rd 24th march
Went for a bit of a drive, weather was good

Went exploring in an area we had never looked into, and found a nice little lake to camp beside with stunning views of the two active craters on Mt Tongariro

It always amazes me how even on these sorta trips, tyres still get dropped to 20psi, winches get used and you always come home scratched to hell. Always just from following lines on the map

Got away for a much needed weekend doing nothing...
As usual, the forecast was wrong... but in a good way...
It was nice to go 'Touring' in the jeep rather than mudding...
(and she didnt go thru too much fuel either)
