safari earth

the earth buy the drivers side battery that goes to the intake manifold has anyone moved that to say the chassie? mine seems to go from the body just under the bat to the manifold is this right?

ye need a engine earth to help starter to spin to the max :D
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

Thats how it should be. The passengers side battery is earthed to the body and the earth to the engine comes off of the body to intake manifold.

i have just done the egr on my truck hense the q i took the manifold off to clean it
and noticed that earth.
I did though apply some high temp gasket goo on the manifold when i put it back on will that effect that earth at all? just thinking out loud :?
