I would like members input on whether allowing advertising finally on ORE would be beneficial in the long term.

There have been ever increasing requests for advertising on the website and although two years ago I made the rule of no advertising I believe the purpose of the site is slowly changing. It is now non-profit, has a small online-store, a members classifieds system, extensive photo albums and an ever-increasing member base.

Revenue would go into online competitions and hopefully small events sponsored by the site and organised by established members :D Hopefully we could have a competition every month.

Please vote in the poll to remain anonymous or if none of the poll responses suit, please post your thoughts.

HI Mike, what does this advertising involve? Things like pop up's may well work well but they are a huge Pain in the arse! even with pop up stoppers! Otherwise I guess the actual layout wouldn't change to much?
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)

no pop-ups as that was the reason I didnt want advertising in the first place. Only a banner which cycles through ads like the one at the top on http://www.tvnz.co.nz

The layout will not change.
