Hi All,
I'm Andy from Christchurch.
I have just purchased my second Terrano as the wife is pregnant with twins so the old 2 door Terrano just wasn't the best choice.
I set up the old 91 2 door nicely with manual hubs, 31-10.5-15 Hankooks, plus a snorkel for the air ram which made a great fuel and power difference.
I still have the 27 spline manual hubs if any one wants to swop to a 28 spline set.
I had a Suzuki SJ410 which went anywhere, apart from deep water, it turned into a boat in deep water so you had to open doors to let the water in rather than out. It is still the best performing 4wd I have ever seen / owned.
I reckon the key to setting up a good 4wd is to make the underside of the vehicle smooth to slide over objects such as rocks and fallen trees, and stopping water getting into gear oil, or dealing with it, like having a spare oil container settling water out of the oil while using the vehicle this week.
I am also a mechanic, so quite good on technical stuff but not so much electrical, but know the basics
Anyway that is me, hope to see you around
Cheers

I know you're trying to be helpful but digging up old threads is annoying...

I was more referring to the other threads e.g.
http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=33474
Last post was in 2012, which is nearly 2 years ago. Wasn't being insulting, just trying to point out that digging up old threads is unneccesary and just moves newer posts that are currently under discussion down the page... But I guess it must be fun to ride the hate bandwagon, you people don't seem to get sick of it.

No hate bandwagon here.....
However - may have been a better idea to comment that on the post you were actually referring too? Rather than confusing everyone on an unrelated "Introduction" thread.....
And welcome aboard Andygoodbloke!
