Need new shocks. 80 series with 6" lift

Post by Diorama »

Its time to replace all four shocks. Its an 80 series cruiser with a 6" suspension lift. What options are available and best places to purchase.
Would also be nice to have some form of adjustable shocks in the rear as I am towing a big boat and the truck sits down in the rear even with the lift.

I've got the same lift - got mine from www.4wdbits.co.nz - EFS extreme.

Cheers,

A set of shocks isn't going to stop rear end sag, all they do is control the speed at which the supension moves and stop it from bouncing excessively, sounds like you need to look into a pair of airbags for the rear, pump them up when you put some weight on the back and it won't sag, will do a lot more that a set of shocks.
