body swap time!

Post by marmite89 »

Hello all its been awhile since done anything to my truck. Unfortunitly its on holiday because one was stupid and drove while he shouldnt be but this has given me sometime to think about my next step of the project and which will be a chassis swap. Since last time i posted anything i foundout that i had a buggered front diff hense the reason why i couldnt get 4wd to work so while my truck has been on holiday iv come across a old work hilux 4wd ute single cab 2.4 non turb and am in process of buying that and will b stripping it back to swap my surf body to over to the hilux chassis. So that for me over the next few months will be my mission so will keep uz all posted.

pretty sure ln60 is the shrt wheel base, but just to make sure just jump under neath it and make sure the rear drive shaft goes straight from the gear box to the diff and doesnt have a hanger bearing
