My manual 80 series is idling a bit rough. On start up it idles at around 600 rpm. At operating temp is around 600-650. When it compensates for the A/C pump its between 650 and 700rpm. It idles a lot smoother at 700rpm.
Is it possible to adjust the idle to keep it at 700rpm permanently?

Yup.. sure. Need to wind in the idle adjust screw until you get the desired RPM.
Not sure if it will effect any other settings...
Here is a pic of the set screw.. It pushes on the arm the throttle pedal pushes.
