Hilux 1989 2.0L

Post by ToyZuki »

I have just brought a new truck and I was going to keep the Hilux just for off roading, beach etc but it just failed the latest WOF and I havent got the time or money right now to get it back on the road.

It failed on the chassis is slightly cracking where the tow bar attaches and a few sharp edges on the bumper corners.

It has a suspension and body lift and 31" tyres.

Taken to Woodhill a few times and just seems to be one of those trucks that bats well above its weight in terms of mods.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in this truck and how much one of these is worth without a WOF these days.

It has Rego until November so someone who is mechanically minded could easily get this back on the road, i just havent got the money, time or space to do this right now.

Dont really want to let her go but no point her just sitting there doing nothing.

Quite a few people have been asking for pictures etc.

This is the truck approx 1 year ago. It has been to Woodhill twice since then and picked up a few dents and scratches. i will get some up to date pics tonight.

Last bump before it goes on trade me.

$1,500 and its yours. Tyres have got to be worth $500 on their own. And the engine and transmission is in good working order. Just had brand new upgraded alternator put on it.

One last try before it goes on TM.

Its a fully running Hilux for $1,500. Had all the shocks and suspension replaced last year.

What would people normally pay for a fully running hilux but with no WOF?

Ya $1,500 easily is what I was thinking. Theres non running sheds on TM for like $800.

Its a 2.0L petrol.
