Harsh call from you one nut. I have plenty of other trucks and mobile plant that keep me far too busy to even think about the mongrel. Besides imagine the environmental harm I would do if I shifted it now? All those insects and rodents with out a place to call home

dis-assembly of the cab and chassis starts after QBW, still making space in the garage for it, going to be quite different doing this in a 1.5 garage instead of a fully equipped workshop with heaps of space

Suprisingly.....
I have seen pics of it being thrashed through the bush on BOP club trips recently.
Great to see it still getting peddled

Hey all,

Thought I might throw up an update on this rig. A few months ago I was chatting to Jafa and the subject came up that he wanted to part with the Jalopy as living on a boat isn't great for workshop space. Couldn't resist having a nosy and couldn't say no to the opportunity

It was sitting for 3 years in a paddock unmoved or started and went with a new battery and fuel. Mice have been in and eaten everything including the seats, and the rear brakes were seized but luckily its pretty basic. Needs a lot of maintenance done but couldn't resist taking it out for a crawl (luckily have some convenient rocks near my house).

May update the thread but not going to mod too much other than a deck so its a bit easier to take on multi day missions. Have already fixed a few of the broken things and replaced a few heims. Just got lots of servicing and rebuilding to go but having space to drive at home is great for the motivation to keep it running

From what I hear theres a lot sitting around in sheds collecting dust! Have also seen a few projects from people on here in the past come out of the woodwork in one form or another (often with jungle gyms welded to the outside)

Yes definitely keen! Itching to get out in it again. One of the lower links broke a few weeks ago and snapped the bottom of a shock and damaged the other so amidst repairing that atm
