Im after the front covers that stick out on the rim where you would normaly turn for manuel locking hubs. I have automatic hubs, can someone point me in the right direction, please and thankyo

what rims do you have?
factory ones may not your rims.

You don't have auto hubs, They are fixed flanges that are always engaged to your CVs, this means your CV joints and front shafts are always spinning, even when in 2WD. Good reason to swap to free wheeling units.
Hiluxes and Surfs with independent front suspension have the Auto Disconnecting Differential (ADD) setup to disconnect the driveline on the passengers side of the front diff output via a vacuum actuator and position sensors. Google will tell you all the info you need if you want to find out more
Alot of people get these systems mixed up because they see the "auto" bit...

That is exactly what my friend told me the other day, i didnt take much notice, i sortd out the part i needed, was just thecap i ended up needing hahaha thanks for the info, will do some reading on it
