Leaking bighorn

Picked up a cheap UBS55 bighorn to tow the boat with .after all this rain we have been getting a pool of water has been collecting in the drivers footwell(and a little in the passengers side ).
I'm 99% it was the windscreen that had been replaced by smith and smith a week prior to me collecting it from sunny Nelson.(can see its pretty wet down the A piller )
After I read on here that smith and smith don't offer a warranty if there has been a change of ownership ,Got a guy around to fix it up and be just ran some more sealant around it ,thought he might have taken the glass out but not the case.
$50 later and Sure enough it's still leaking like a sieve
My question is should the glass have been taken out to fix properly ?i have re sealed the roof gutters and the attena so still certain it's the screen
Any suggestions are welcome as it's driving me crazy and no I don't have glass insurance yet.

check for rust holes under the dash,
have chased a leaky windscreen to find it was a seam in the firewall rusting apart

It should be covered under warranty by whoever resealed it. Failing that i'd start at the bottom with a hose. Give it heaps of water and slowly make your way up the screen checking for leaks as you go. Give it heaps through the vents at the bottom. Sometimes leaves and crap can fill up the drain holes. Failing that get a real windscreen guy to fix it

Smith and Smith now carry the warrenty over multiple owners. They had it on fair go and they changed their policy. Not sure what would happen now that some else has had a go tho.

Yep get a good windscreen fella, sorry dont know any good ones.....

We use Precision Autoglass ( http://www.precisionautoglass.co.nz/contact.html ) through work.

Highly recommend Tim to do any glass work. He is a very good tradesman!

you can always add food coloring to the water your pouring on the suspected area that way you can see the trail easier, as water is very hard to track if that helps
