1uz-fe v8 lexus starter motor needed please

anybody got one they want to sell me please, its a few days away before my coast trip,
and its looks as a major job to remove it, why put a starter motor there

Why not pull it out and check it over before your trip?. They are not something you want to be changing out in the middle of know where.

no just replace it , not a 5min job to get them out,
its about 4hrs in and out job

We just finished a 1uz conversion at work and we had the starter out and rebuilt it as part of the job. It is worth rebuilding them as it doesn't cost that much to do.

you have to pull anyway.. I have done mine and cheap as chips for parts.. bearings contacts.. plunger..shit that's about it..put back in

Do the pinion clutch on the end as well. Pretty cheap.

Check the number of teeth on the new pinion before you finish putting the motor back together.......
