Post by suzukisport »

A little late but oh well.
Got stuck working Saturday, but today I thought it was about time to have a look at the front diff head that I broke at Manukau WC back in October

Think this may have been the problem

did woodhill patrol un eventful till 4pm temu rd sand hill, wizard suck on a stump problem was his mate tried to pull him forward with a load strap ,standard surf , load strap tied to tow ball.set around a stump180 deg pull.
sent my partner up to the top of the Sandhill run his winch rope out plus a extension to pull surf up the hill to release load strap move surf forward till out of the way.
run my cable up to the stump with pulley block on then to front of the wizard pulled him sideways off the stump any other direction not on.
once that was done drove forward winched the back straight so he could reverce out on the track,
got back to look out to be told 7 trucks still in there, drove wrong way back ,till hit the two way roads till got to end of track 16 found 3 of them, Indians limited English ,waiting on a land rover, you three follow me out ,partner wait for others follow the blue track.
ran the track around the paint ball park four times to lead these dudes out all done by 6.30 home to dinner at 7.30

Its been a while but I managed to finally get out for a play in the mud. Also convinced a mate with a stock terrano to follow me  Got him stuck multiple times and got him some slight tree damage ( It'll buff out, honest ). Then found an interesting Hilux in need of recovering, who decided to tag along for a bit.

Yet another weekend with no mud.. Tricky with no rear drive shaft fitted any how.

That hilux in hamboy's video looks a bit like this one but with more exo cage. Can't be that many around Blenheim?

Fixed up some of the door seals on Te Rino and gave her a polish. Didn't scrub up half bad considering the amount of Pureora bush It's been friendly with. All ready for next weekend's playdate! :D

Got half way through the body lift on my Hilux and realised I only had 6 blocks? DOH. So left it in the workshop in pieces. Will finish it this weekend. Also my UHF radio arrived at my mates place so should have that this week. Almost ready for mud.
