more stupid idiots in the ashley river

Last night i went over the Ashley bridge {main north rd } and saw trucks and people in the river about 5pm. My son went over the bridge about an hour later and did a u turn and went back to find a vx cruiser and a very tidy gq nissan both stuck in the river neither of them running. he was told that the gq was trying to help the vx.Anyway long story short ,lots of cops lots of 4wds end result nissan had the front end ripped out and will most be a right off. The asian owner didnt even want to go back to the gq to get his rope as he said the water was to cold . Can anyone add to this story Photos

update Truck still there out of the river tyres gone . was a very nice truck

What a waste. I'd be keen on some parts if it's too inconvenient for the owner to recover.

My work mate was one of the people that helped pulled it out, the radius arm was sticking down into the ground.

its been stripped of alot of things now ,cops were down there all doors bonnet etc open. tracked the owner down . well his house no one home. left a note asking if he wanted to sell it but not much to sell now

There was a very tidy one getting round ChCh and driven by an asian...had a large ARB sticker on it and same colour as this one. Had 'Goliath' on front of the bonnet - I reckon same truck.
