Looking to purchase a trials truck not to concerned about the class as long as most of the components are Japanese and upto around the 10k mark.
Maybe you are thinking of selling one or may know someone who has something available. Would consider an unfinished project.
WTB Trials Truck
Re: WTB Trials Truck
I have a C class truck that was quite competitive, have not had it out for a couple of years, was thinking of getting trials ready again, needs a bit of cosmetic work and gearbox changed (have replacement) and seliing for about $15 but could look at deal as is without mud king tyres for less?

Re: WTB Trials Truck
Buy Jesses A Class zook and do the whole season and you are probably guaranteed to be the A Class champ for the season

Will be putting the Lada on retardme for a $1 in the next couple of weeks

There are some bits that will be removed (some sold off, others replaced with more standard parts to make it more sale-able)
All it will need is the loom sorted (has one there from the donor car, just not cut and sorted), water lines finished (90% done), brake lines (not started) and paint and its ready to run
Comes with two Hilux axles that have been shaved and braced, that will need to be replaced with standard housings as the shave and brace isn't legal for E class, that is the only thing that is outside class rules
and you will need wheels
as for price I'm expecting it to sell for $1500 mark lol but it could go for a $1
The bits that are gone are the rims and the two front shocks (all the fittings to do the coil overs will stay so you just need two new rancho 12" shocks)
the Rims are sold (will come with some rims to roll it round on..)
and the front brakes have been replaced with standard rebuilt V6 calipers and new disks, got to have a measure up as I might do the same for the rear
Everything else is as the build thread
edit forgot a couple of things lol
Alt mount needs done and you will need to buy bumps for the front end mounts are there but the bumps were sold

Re: WTB Trials Truck
Thanks guys. Have sent PM for both trucks. I have had a Lada once and even though they are actually pretty good trucks i will leave them to the Russians haha.
Re: WTB Trials Truck

SR20 mid mounted motor running to hilux diffs, custom coilover suspension and a spaceframe-unibody that started out Lada
The funny part is it took alot of effort to retain the lada look
I just realised it is no good for you as I put the rad in the back based on a deal with a mate who was going to take it... this rules you into C class, and it wouldn't be competitive there sorry
