Trucks of the past, where are they now?

Post by turoa »

Many trucks from the 4wd past come and go with many going into storage or get lost. Do you have any trucks from your past (owned or known) that you'd like to know where they got to?

Most of my trucks have been mothballed and ended up in bits, however a few slipped through the cracks. Does anyone know how these ended up?

PPG s1 landrover. I got it off mroffroader quite some time ago, through disco axles in and coiled the front. Sold it engineless to a chap in Levin. Did drive it on my injected 202 though!

I also had this old bobtail rangepig. Where did that end up?

My old Suzuki SJ413 is parked up most days just a few minutes from my work, down Chapmans road. Still brings a smile to the dial that lil tonka truck. Tempted to put a note on the windscreen offering to buy it back. I miss my old toy.

On the opposite side I'd be interested to know the history of mine. I'm convinced it was someone's club truck many moons ago before it ended up on the farm I found it quietly rusting in the shed of. And now its getting set up as a club/fun truck again :D

You'll have to take your turn again after me. I figure I have it for another 5 years and then you can have it again for 5, then back to me...
