1995 KZN130 Surf
Recently had wheel bearing replaced
Brakes were bled off front right when re-assembled
Now, after turning right, the brake peddle depresses a lot further than before, enough to give you a bit of a fright sometimes when needing to stop suddenly. Some occasions worse than others.
After turning left or going straight the brake is nice and hard as per normal
I can't think what could be causing this? Didn't happen before wheel bearing was replaced
Any idea's?

I would start by checking movement in the wheel bearing.
It sounds like the brake pad is being pushed back a bit as the truck turns NSF the brake rotor 'leans' against the pad.
Just because its new doesn't mean its been pressed in all the way or set correctly.

I would be checking the brake hose and see if it is routed correctly, sounds like its being pinched when your turning. Check all the responses that come in and see if one sounds like a solution.

Just a note - there's no need to undo the brake line when doing wheel bearings as you can just unbolt the caliper and tie it up out of the way using a cable tie or such.

The metal part of the brake line was twisted and not routed correctly when I got the truck back, I had to take the caliper off and attempt to bend and re-route it correctly (with not complete success, although it's a lot better and closely resembles the other side now). Also bled the brakes via that corner.
So to check the brake line pinching I can just jack up that corner and fully max the steering each way whilst looking at the complete brake line?
How can I check if the wheel bearing is seated correctly or pressed correctly without taking everything apart? Or does everything have to come off?

Jack it up and grab the wheel on opposite sides and try to wiggle it, there shouldn't be any play.

This, and grab it top and bottom, not the sides.

Oh ok same as checking for a shitted wheel bearing. Will have a look this weekend. Cheers.
PS it also brakes to the right now, really noticeable when rolling slowly and braking.

does it have abs?
did you follow factory bleeding procedure?
if the line was kinked take it back for them to replace they always end up splitting after that treatment

problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions

No ABS
Yea normal bleeding
Haven't had time to check the back and forth play yet been flat out
