What's the story with the terios? I see its digital 4x4, does that mean there's no 4 low?
Are they work looking into to beach and bush tracks?

Terios any good for off-roading?
Re: Terios any good for off-roading?
Competent entry level mall cruiser. Good clearance should handle most curbs with ease. A bit tall which can be an obstruction in heated parking garages.
The rare 'cv boot sqawk' which was once mentioned, also of course johnson rod deflection (they all do it)and Gotta always retension the whatsit assemblies, always with the reduction braces tearing itself CLEAN OFF ITS MOUNTINGS

Thanks for that very in-depth info

Perhaps you should either stay quiet or give helpful input to this chaps realistic question.
The Terios isn't a bad lightweight vehicle at all, but it is quite small inside, so if you wanted to carry passengers on a frequent basis, then you might want to look at something with a bit more space inside.
You are correct with the fact that these do not have low range. These are all wheel drive for daily use and come equipped with a centre diff lock for the tougher situations. Basically this turns the vehicle into a standard 4WD (50% drive to the front and 50% to the rear.
Depending on what you are wanting to do with one of these will decide whether it is suitable for the tasks.
I wouldn't want to be taking one into the bush, but on the beach, it should be fine.
How much and what type of offroading are you wanting to do?
Toyhatsu Bitsalux

Re: Terios any good for off-roading?
no low range look at a rocky or a vitara instead
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

They're a soft roader around town shopping basket mate so if that's the level of offroading your looking at they would be fine otherwise you want to go looking for something else that'll better suit your application

Re: Terios any good for off-roading?
As previously suggested a Suzuki Vitara/Escudo would fit the bill better, they have low range and plenty of aftermarket support available eg lift kits lockers etc.

OK fair enough Mehrts, I've been thinking about this...though it wasnt mean spirited and I was just joking around
As Richie would say, I like to keep things 'up vibe and interesting.' But sometimes I should just shut the f**k up.

^^Marvellous effort, that
