Re: escudo lift
Longer springs will lift it. Or use spring spacers on top of your existing springs.
Followed by longer travel in your struts (front) and shocks (rear) so they don't bottom out repeatedly as a result of the raised springs.
A spacer for your rear diff a-arm will help preserve the life of the ball joint there.
And some measure to pull the front camber back into place.
How much - ranges from a little to a lot. What is your budget?
And tyres, you can go to 215/75r15 without triggering certification. Which is 28" or 29". But to be honest you could probably go to 30" without many WoF places bothering you.
Have you read the Cheap Vitara Lift thread? Or any of the commodore spring threads? Lots of information on budget lifts in there.
And the final question, which should be the first one - what do you want to do with the vehicle? What sort of driving? Daily driver as well as off-road? Does it have any modifications already? Are you in a club or just hanging out with a few mates? Recreational 4WD or fishing/hunting vehicle?
Ah. All of the above assumes it is a Vitara...
