Can someone provide some context, what does this mean for the 4x4 users of Pureora?

I read it as DOC are outsourcing the management of the cabins etc to an external company (with the $$$ going to them as well), with the building of a secure carpark and a caravan park. Theres no mention of existing motorised access or removal of this. How close are the cabins to the 4wd tracks? would this cause any problems if its too close to the other new facilities. The company appears to be funded by a number of corporate iwi corporations.

It wouldn't hurt to put in a submission to retain this access, maybe we can ask for more 4x4 facilities there

believe me cabins are nothing to write home about, upgrading them would be a idea, other amenities are ok.
they are a fair drive from the areas we drive
