Vynal Dashboard surface repair

Hi guys, does anyone know a way to repair damage to the top surface of a dashboard?

I have torn mine removing some double sided tape.

It has torn away a section about 20mm x 5mm and this torn bit is in about 4 bits.

Several options available here bud;
Cousins fix. Place towel over complete dash. Fixed
Bros fix. Place sheep skin over dash. Fixed
Bone heads fix. Old codys cans and macca wraps in complete internal space. Fixed
Self employed fix. Cover in packing slips and old invoices. Sorted.
Kids fix. Cover all surfaces with stickers includes windows. Fixed
Failing that mount a gauge over the offending area

as above or go find a free copy of petrolhead theres a few people in there advertising dash restorations and repairs but it'll $$cost$$ ya to get it fixed

There must be some accessory that you are going to fit that can be screwed to that piece of dash.
A friend of mine had the dash in his dodge charger redone it cost over 1k for the repair and recover by dashboard restorations in Auckland.
