Whakaramarama

Is it ok to go up the track at whakaramarama? iv got a mate that lives there & he said hes seen trucks up there but isn't sure if its ok just don't want to piss anyone off. am going to stay in pukehina in 2weeks for a week & am thinking about taking my Suzuki over, does anyone know any other good tracks close by?

As far as I know its OK heaps of people I know used to go up there including me. Been a while tho. Be keen again actually but doubt I will have my zook running in 2 weeks unless I go mad haha. Tempting tho, was planning on using that as a test track as its close to home. Not a huge amount that is still open, doubt anyone would get far up that end of Thompson's at the most haha. According to Doc no, but plenty of us use Whaka it's a great fun up there with a good variety of mud,clay,tight bush,steap climbs and evn a bit of rock crawling if that's your cup of tea and Realy good for zooks as thers lots of tight zig zagging through trees ect, I have notaced it's had allot more use scince thomsons te aroha side has been closed, il b Arround in a couple of weeks And am only about 20min from the track, would be keen to bring my zook up for a play if you do decide to go.
