Post by mat01 »

How cheap are you thinking? I cant think of any 4wd petrol utes that are economical. Early petrol navaras/hiluxs/b2000 are underpowered and chew alot of gas. Only ones I can think of would be a suzuki, even the later jimny utes still sell fir good $$$. Good luck.

mazda bounty or ford courier orwhat ever they are, the early 4x4 maybe a cheapish option.

or get a 2wd ute, and a atv, in my case this has proven a cheaper option and far beter when it comes to hunting

Haven't looked to closely at it but they pop up from time to time and sometimes in better nick. I'd not chase it much higher than that but have seen em go for a lot more. Knowing where they are and making an offer before they become "for sale" is best.

U simply will not find a respectable 4wd ute for a couple grand sorry.

For $4k there's a hand full on l200s etc, old navaras but that's it.

And petrol 4wd economy simple isn't possible either..
