Won the otago rally yesterday, beating Ken Block and the rest of the turboed 4wd field :shock:

Yeah - Bloody awesome driving from Hayden Paddon.

Just goes to show, to win a rally, you don't need 4wd - a turbo - a sequential box or even fuel injection! What you DO need is talent

And that's why I'm not a rally driver...................... sob

Yeah absolutely brilliant driving.
Sure pretty much all the NZRC top runners were out or hit problems but Hayden was still in a class of his own.
Years ago Pasi Hagstrom and Juha Kankunnen posted a few top 10 stage times in BDA's on the same rally.

On a more somber note, the guy driving the Escort in the original post was killed a few weeks back
