Ive just gone for a wof and failed on rust in the running boards, any tips on how to get em off? was thinking it may be better to take the grinder to it. no point in repairing them as its quite bad :(

Running Boards? Side steps?
There are plates under the carpet that bolt through to them.
Mine where rusted i had to cut the bolts off from the top to get them off.

Take both front seats out, remove plastic trim above the sills and lift up edges of carpet to access the bolts

Put the bolts back in the holes and find some nuts to hold them in

Have a bin handy for all the old coins and lolly wrappers you find under the carpet
