Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

Bugger, Costa is a great place to go

Its better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

As far as rumours go, this is a good one
But seriously, last I heard this couldnt be further from the truth
Give Laurie and Sue call and book a day trip/weekend its well worth it, id go every week if my truck was tough enough

Costa Plenty is still operating and open for business. NEVER been in financial/tax troubles AT ALL and the Costa Plenty 4x4 Club is also still very much an active club!! Ring Laurie & Sue Goldfinch to book a trip if you want. You DO NOT have to have a tough truck to drive out there. Sure there will be areas that are for the tougher trucks but there are also plenty of areas that are for the novice drivers and standard club trucks as well.
Re: 4wd News
I'm really glad to hear costa is still all good.
I would recommend it as a great weekender or long weekender.
Last time we went we had everything from my hilux 350 Chevy on 35 silverstones to a lada on 215r15 tyres and everything in between.
We had a great time and there are courses for horses as far as tracks
