Winch

Post by hamishh »

Hi so I currently have a x9 super winch on my 80 series and it need quite some work to get up and running i.e new gearbox housing new clutch and gearing repaired. Parts gonna cost about 500 or 600. Motor and solenoids are still fine. Is it worth the repair or get a new one. Maybe a 12000 runva or stick to super winch
Thanks

K thanks.
So it seems super winch is way to go which is what I originally thought. Now my current one is about 12 years old. Is it still worth replacing all the gearing and the housing for it due to age. And could the gear and clutch other housing just be wielded up instead if replacing.
Thanks

Replace them bud cause it will only break under full load.
