Suzuki Vitara wont start with key, but can hotwire starter

Hi guys,

Surprised to find my 87 Vitara wouldnt start this morning. Was able to hotwire on the starter motor and it started fine.

Started it using this method a few times through the day and drove around a bit but still wont do anything when trying to start with key.

Any ideas? Fuse? Safety switch?

ignition switch probably , their really easy to check all u need is a test light

Auto or manual?
