WTB Hilux ute

I'm looking for an 80s hilux, preferably single or extra cab. Or would also consider 1st gen surf. Must be solid axle. Petrol or diesel. Budget is $5000.

Edit: Decided a single cab hilux doesn't have enough room for activities So after a first generation surf.

How 80's....my ln65 was 5K 5 years ago.....sold it for 7k in a non warrantable state. ( bent chassi) hens teeth for a good one now.

My brother has a 3y petrol 88 double cab hilux with flat deck for sale pretty tidy new head radiator carby had heaps spent on it think he's wanting round the 6k mark just got years rego and will have new wof

Going to look at a 1st Gen Surf. Petrol manual. Hopefully it ticks all the boxes. It's not solid axle but maybe that can happen later.

1st gen surfs can be solid front, I have one.

After something road legal or not too far from it, but modified is fine.

87 beam axle surf cut down to 2 seater, 93 surf v6 motor trans loom etc, 34 inch simex, rear locker front lsd, snorkel, 2 inch body lift 2 inch lifted springs, just about ready for 2 winches to be fitted, bars around.+++.
all certed reg on hold.
or swap mod surf prado hilux disco v8 or maybe similar.

$5000 as is. less if I keep wheels. I'm keeping uhf & cb radios and air comp.

Finally sold my van today so I'm in the market for a 1st Gen Surf. Decided against a hilux as not enough seats for missions with mates. Will consider anything with a wof or not too far from it.
