TD27 mystery wire

Anyone know where this wire goes to and what it does, was installing new heater hoses when the whole thing came away, appears to go under the inlet manifold somewhere but can't see where, looks like maybe an earth wire.

not off your glow plug relay?

Don't think so as it still starts and runs fine, maybe EGR.

pretty thick cable for that?

It will either go onto the glow plugs or the manifold heater which is in the back of the manifold above the starter

Went onto the glow plug rail under the heater hoses , pulled out of the connector, all soldered in now so will not do that again.
