Had one in my 80 that I took out to put lockers in. Love the locker but the disc brakes are shithouse compared to the drums (for a tow wagon anyway  )

for braking or hand braking? as I've been thinking of rotating it into my truck and selling the "disk brake one" as when it was in hand brake was awesome in comparison..

Handbrake definitely  but in terms of general braking, especially with a big load on.

In saying that, as soon as water went near them offroad, they were nigh on useless.
