Ignorant press

Post by muddymatt1973 »

http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff-nation/ass ... estruction

Found the above on Stuff.co.nz.
Some highlights.....
The walking-mountainbiking tracks are old logging tracks from back in the days of native logging and farm clearing - So they used to be bulldozer wide?

Sadly, our beautiful area seems to be forgotten by DOC, and four-wheel-drives and motorbikes are destroying the tracks, reserve and native bush by selfish acts of destruction. - NO evidence given AT ALL.

Why is it that every greenie can't see that 4wd recreation is not the enemy?

Funny how the work the clubs do always goes unnoticed but get one idiot who isnt in a club and suddenly all offroad vehicles are bad. Our club also works with ARAC/GWC to fix everyone's tracks.
Good on you for posting, nothings more frustrating than a one sided viewpoint!
IFS all the way...go the mark 1 Pajero!
