Hi I have a 60 series landcruiser but the high/low linkage has droped in to the transfer case does anyone have any idea how to get it back up

if it's a split case which I think it is.. ya gotta take the cover off to get it.. or if you are lucky get a little strong magnet and drop it into the hole and hope you can stick to it..then draw it out.. if it's gone right into the box.. no choice but remove cover.. goodluck

Hi ive tried a magnet but no good the linkage is sitting flash with the case

it probably has turned in the hole which means take cover off..been there done that.. piss's ya off to have it back together then it drops inside.. goodluck

mate i think you should be getting a mate to show you how to do m it or take it to a micnic..
they are not hard to work on once you know but to strip the cover and reassemble as a newby is a big call

Hey ive got it all apart need to get some gaskets then I will put it all back together again.
