Winch safety training

Post by kiwipete »

I have been asked to do some research into the safe operation of using vehicle mounted winches for every day use, at my place of work.

While I am quite well versed in winch operation(s), I am wondering if any of you have any doccumentation you use for training days etc. Or know of any online I can refer to please.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

There is a company in Timaru that runs 4wd recovery courses - Fire and Safety Training Ltd. Its done to Unit Standard qualification. Link to the course on their website below. Cheers.
