i would do the loop if atleast 50% of the vehicles you going with are capable winch equipt trucks running 33's or bigger. I ended up running 34's with chains on last time on the cruiser with lockers..

so what im saying is go very prepd or take a sleeping bag..
Dont follow me. i'll get stuck and need a tow..

im with callum on that call.

Im contemplating doing it, but only intend on winching myself around, with the 31's down there, twin lockers or not, im going to hold others up.

33's may even be a touch and go down there now, mudzilla and monstr did the whole thing a few days back, and callum you stuck ur nose down there too aye.... im just thinking back to a few months ago and i think dixie still had his 32's on and had trouble in spots, i have no doubt it's cut up since then.

Yes yes i no it would be better with 33's lockers etc BUT is it still posible with winches 32. If we have simlar spec trucks it shouldnt be a drag. may be limiting to 4 trucks ya??

Hi All,Mudzilla and i went around on monday its quite cut up in places, unless your running 35"S dont go through the pond take the bypass,31 or 32 inch tyres will get through the track without to much problem but you will need to winch a few times,if its wet and your going clock wise some of the corners can be a bit dodgy real tight of camber left and right turns that lifts wheels a mtr in the air,if going anti clockwise its mostly plane sailing,on the way down there will be a winch coming up to the pond and a few on the way up the hill, there is a bog hole just as you come up to the exit ,be warned take the bypass unless your on 35"s with lockers, its worse than it looks...Steve

Steve is bang on,this should be put on a sign at the gate...Ha ha

Just keep in mind if theres 4 trucks and only 2 winches it becomes along day especially for the guys trucks doing all the hauling and towing(XJ can advise on this,Ha ha)

We'll get your tow hooks sorted Andy (i have surpless brackets for the front now you can have) and we'll give a go after a week of dry weather. See if Dwayne wants to come, he hasn't been out for ages
