My Wife and i have recently moved to Christchurch and are wishing to join up with a local 4WD club, to get out and about and do some of the many trips run out of CH CH. I currently own a 1991 Hilux DC.Very standard at present. I have a set of off road MTs, and are fitting a snorkel shortly, have got rated tow hooks front and rear. I am hoping to join up with the Canterbury Recreational 4WD club. The hilux is my fourth 4WD, the first being a very early Diahatsu Taft that had been repowered with a 1600cc Ford motor, geat little machine. I then had series Landys (IIA & III)for about 15 years. These were used mainly to access hunting blocks in the North Island and in the West Otago , Southland area. Since registering with ORE site i have spent many hours reading the forums and have learnt heaps from all of the members. Thanks for sutch a great site, and keep up all the good work.
