Hey chaps
as the title says the 2lte spat the dummy and I have a 3l waiting to go in, got a couple of questions that might save a bit of time and money. Has someone figured out the easiest way to get the tacho to run with the 3L? and also the 3l didnt come with a fly wheel so does anyone have one lying around I would be happy to take it off your hands for a reasonable price? Hopefully when its all in I will get some photos up to show everyone how I did it
Cheers Bryan

tach, you can either fit a converter (someone posted a crowd that made them) or swap the tach out of the dash. i have no ide what fits a lj71 dash.

How are you planning on getting around the CAS?
I have been considering doing this myself but had thought to use a 5LE as it has the crank angle sensor so should be more plug and play. And swap the turbo over at the same time. Dearer to buy though.

I wired a Hilux a while ago that originally had a 5LE in it that was replaced with a 3l. I used a tacho interface from anything electronic to get the tacho going.

I'm planning on using the mechanical fuel pump which would mean not having to worry about retro fitting a cas. It does appear that that getting the bits from another rachis would be easier.. I hope
