Nissan VH45 runners wanted.

Post by Checkerhead »

OK not 4wd parts but hey...

I need the four corner runners that go between the block and the plenum, that the injectors mount into.
They have two different types. Some have about a 30mm odd diameter rubber that mounts the injector. Some use a smaller diameter rubber (maybe 20mm). I need the ones that use the smaller rubber.

So who has some VH45 parts? or knows someone?

Cheers.

Arron.

Good question.
The engine I have will have the wrong runners associated with it. So serial probably wont help.
It's currently sitting in a Safari so that won't help.
They are originally in Nissan Infinity's (Q45) from 1990 to 1996.
I believe that I am after runners from the last few years, but I really do not know for sure.

I will do some research.

well we can narrow it down some more the timing chain guide is it plastic/nylon or metal?
Does it have Vairable timing or not
is the alternator top mounted or not?

1990 to 93 had equal length runners and twin circle intake ports

94/95 had oval intake ports and revised injectors.

96 had no VTC

Well you know your stuff. (not the first time you have proved it of course)
Am told it has a metal timing chain guide. But I don't know if that is standard or has been replaced due to the known weakness.
It does have VTC and has/had twin circle equal length runners.

Based on what you have said I guess I need the 94/95 runners. That is assuming the 90-93 runners are interchangeable with the 94/95, except that the injector mounting is different?

Thought I had a lead but it has dead-ended.

Does anyone know anyone who is using/has used VH45 engines that I w=could hit up to see if they have parts?

Any help or leads much appreciated.
