WT holden ecotec v6

Blew my engine today so on the lookout for an ecotec v6 from a vs vt vy anybody got one they consider selling?

shit you haven't even got the cert tag on it yet :shock: did it toast the bearings what sort of sump have you got on it? :D

As of yet to put out n rip apart to see whats failed yeh got plate arriving on monday haha.... but will c how we get on. Its got standard sump but ive probally going to get a custom rear sump made up for it. But I just want to get a motor in it so I can use it. Haha so much for taking it easy bit hard to do in timed comps lol. Oh well

Yup thats it was still even going quite well with the rattle haha 3rd fastest time on that stage was the run when motor shit the bed at the top of that stage.

throw another one in there mate and sort out a better sump they don't last very long with those shallow front bowl sumps :D

I knew id have to change the sump seems its soon rather then later

pickapart surely has an engine
otherwise rebuild and accusump time

plumb it in and set the oil pressure ,
if it drops off it'll dump the accumulated oil into the system,
pretty sure they t them in at the oil pressure sender so if the pump starves it'll maintain pressure till its shut down or it hopefully picks up again
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions
