any one know of this 4.1L intercooled turbo?believe it is in some toyotaDyna trucks? 230kw @ 4000rpm in a '79 BJ 43 cruiser i have been reading about.might fit i my hilux.hehehe.
i'm not sure who dreamt up those figures for that aussie mag but the best i could come up with was:
136ps @3000 and 37KgF.m@ 1600
100kw@3000 and 360nm @1600
155hp@3200 and 288nm@ 1800.
those are from toyota jamaca, some random south american site and a couple of other sites with listings for dyna and coaster busses.
i suspect ther will be a few letters to the editor and an correction, unless wong has found a magic way to double the hp of toyotas diesels!
either way it still is a good torquey engine, and a likley candidate if my 3b sucks the kumara in the future.
