3l intercooler setup

Hey looking at installing an I yet cooler on my 3l turbo motor. What size do people use/recommend ?? And where have they mounted it. !! Not much room behind grill and don't want to go top mount and cut bonnet. ?? Any help much appreciated. Cheers

have you got aircon?
if not front mount should fit ok. i googled a few pics, looks fairly similar in layout to the surf.

No air con. There is Lil room inbetween radiator and grill but. Bonnet latch has support piece from lock straight down. Can this be removed ???

you can replace the support, tho i did see a cruiser that tom offroad is working on where they used the IC as the support
i made on up which went in front of the IC.
this pic may give you an idea. its ln130 but i think the hilux is similar.
