Welcome ..
Let the addiction begin!
One piece of advice I thought particularly helpful when I started out;
Seat time, get plenty of seat time find out what your truck can and cannot do. Find out what you are comfortable with too. Near vertical winch walls are not everyone's cup of tea no matter what truck you drive.
That said, tyres are essential in terms of getting your truck to go places....

Re: Hi from Auckland
Depends on how much you drive it, and if you can be bothered changing wheels often. I don't but then i only drive it when im going somewhere to get muddy, or giving it a run for the sake of it.
Re: Hi from Auckland
If your vehicle is your daily and you do big kms, run a second set of tyres. I do. takes 10 mins to swap a set of tyres
Dont follow me. i'll get stuck and need a tow..

I run 2 sets of tyres one road one mud. The Jeep looks a bit funny with the lift kit etc on my 30's for road but it looks fine with the 33's on it but then it is my daily and I drive over 100k's a day on the road & the difference of $200 a tyre and $400 a tyre is enough for me to run the 2 sets. Only take 10 mins to change the set but make sure you have a spare for each size as well.
