Bought my first 4x4
Bought my first 4x4
Hey guys.
I bought my first 4x4 about 3 months ago and I think a few people will call me an idiot for buying what I did.
Which is a 1992 Mazda Proceed 2.6L Petrol gas guzzler. But I really do enjoy it. It's heaps of fun. Minus the fact that modifying it is proving to be slightly difficult because it isn't a very common 4x4 but that just adds to the fun of it. Have done a few trips so here's a few photos.

Re: Bought my first 4x4
The radiator tends to fill with mud , causing overheating problems due to its low mounting and size to cool the 2.6

+1 for lockers, but I'd be removing those side steps and fitting some protective barwork. Finished that winchbar yet...??

Re: Bought my first 4x4
another thing I found with it , sometimes the power goes to the rear axle, and little drive to the front , pulling on the hand brake put the drive to the front axle ,

I still call that spot death corner, twins lockers and long wheel base can drive it at speed all other that follow have to winch or be winched up around it
