Heath, I'll get some pics of the column tomorrow but I don't think it's what you are after. The column inside the cab is standard and I don't think the other mods would get a cert!
The torque arm link is a drop link from a mitsy sway bar, the red bushes are nolathane ones and don't slide on the shaft.
It's not the same failure, the first on was giving it a bootful from standstill on dry concrete with no torque rod. my fault

The second time I was being rough as I hadn't realised it had come out of 4wd. My new install of a 3B has moved the gearbox back and right a fraction and the gearbox floor cover had pushed the transfer case lever out into 2wd, just as I was getting stuck on a steep bank....
There is no sign of trauma on the drop link but there is signs of stretching on the eyes on the back of the arm, they are SJ413 spring eye bushes in a bit of pipe. I'll change the pipe to thicker wall stuff and think about changing the droplink too.
