Gidday,
I know this has been done to death but I am so close to finishing my engine swap into an SJ and a few wires are messing me up...
Donor is a 1994 Escudo G16A 16 Valve.
All the wiring diagrams I can find (and all the other G16s I can look at) run the Mitsubishi ECU which has slight differences to my Denso system.
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Denso wiring diagram?
I labelled all my wires but the pen has rubbed off a few labels.
Thanks

Re: 1.6 Wiring
As far as I know , which may not be much , there were two versions of the g16a with 16v and MPI , you can tell the difference in the air intake . Did not know they had a different make of ecu but I bet it ties up (never wrecked or fired a later model one) . Still the best place for suzuki manuals is http://www.suzukiinfo.com . I will try and attach the diagram I think you need but otherwise go there and what you are looking for is a late model G16b wiring diagram , but check it has a distributor .
Technically g16's with a dissy are g16a's and when they went to coil on plug they were called g16b's . However our good brothers over the ditch do not believe this and call carb's g16a's and all 16v g16b's . No idea what they do about the 8v injected
Thats why I think the attached G16b diagram that shows a dissy will be what you want , the later model one . All the ones I have done were early engines , hence the early diagram . On that site you will find more detail and good info on testing each sensor etc , always good to get a copy stashed away .
Can't attache pdf so this may be the link to the file and will save one page as jpg
http://www.suzukiinfo.com/vitara/wiring ... g16a-b.pdf
Let me know if this is not right or you can't get the file
Cheers
Chris
Ps this link could be the testing , I have used it for early vitara's but it says late aswell
