Escudo lockrite driving tips

Post by kiers117 »

Hi, I have a welded rear diff and lockrite front diff in a Escudo. Just wondering if anyone has lockers front and rear and any good off road driving tips. Like crawl everywhere is better or full speed?? Just knowing when to stop and get the winch out, is there a different driving style for front and rear lockers?

I have auto lockers front and rear in my hilux, I broke a front CV by too much jandal when at full lock on gravel (trying to get the front to slide around on a tight corner).

Lesson I learn where there is good traction I put it into 2wd, I do not bother unlocking the front hubs if it is only a short drive before I need to get back in 4wd.
