Snorkel Help Plz

Post by joedirt »

Thanks in advance. I am new to the world of Pajero's and just purchased this '93 3.5 for some fun. I am wanting to put a snorkel on it but because its a Jap import, I can't identify what model it is. has V25 on vin plate. Dealer told me that 3.5 motor didnt appear till 2000 (maybe NZ new). Anyone able to help model designation ?

Not sure if the piping to the air filter housing would be different on the 3.5 but this will fit the body at least.

that is correct, it is a second generation with the 3.5 and larger transmission. all factory, 1993 the paj was revised with the 3.0 getting coil's instead of distributor and the 3.5 was introduced so go with the second gen snorkel to match the body. not the engine.1

Cheers but not sure that would work. Airbox is up front corner, behind headlight. Intake is right up front of gaurd. Will check if room for any plumbing that could make that work.

Alternative is to get one made up out of exhaust tubing.
