strop and winch rope mounts

Anyone have suggestions for good mounts to hold strops and excess winch rope?

Had an incident with a loose strop a week or so ago that caused some damage.

Have a tube front bar with winch and hooks. Considering some sort of tubes or something I can loop the strops around but worried about WOF time etc.

Any pics or suggestions appreciated.

Drill two holes in the top of your bar and weld a nut into each one, bolt in a couple of 150-200mm long bolts to hold your cable etc.
When not needed unscrew them and wind in two 20mm bolts to fill the holes.

This is the road legal option two holes either side with some 10mm ali tube bent into a U shape and slid in each side. Holes are drilled at 10mm aswell to make tight fit.
